Christchurch, 8 - 10 August, 2014

The Athletics New Zealand Club Connect 2014 club conference focused on partnerships, collaboration and the sharing of ideas as the key to unlocking success in the grass roots of the sport.

The overall theme of the conference was the Athletics New Zealand Pathway and aimed to provide insight and direction for clubs and regional associations so together the sport can grow Athletics and make it AWESOME for everyone involved!

We looked at the participant…the key reason we do what we do! Why do THEY do athletics? What motivates THEM? Are we (clubs) relevant to their needs and wants?

It was another great weekend, and we look forward to seeing lots more clubs there in 2015!
