2018 International Classification for athletes with a Physical and Intellectual Impairment will take place at the 2018 Victorian Open and Para Track & Field Championships, Melbourne Australia. All Athletes wishing to attain an international classification, must enter the competition in a relevant event they wish to be classified in, and must complete the necessary paperwork with World Para Athletics prior to being classified.
International Classification details will be as follows:
Classification Dates: Tuesday, 27th of February - Thursday, 1st of March 2018
Event Location: Lakeside Stadium - Aughtie Drive , Albert Park VIC
Event Dates: Friday, 2nd of March - Sunday, 4th of March 2018
Event Registration: Closes - Sunday, February 18th 2018 11:58 PM - AEST

Important Notes;
*Athletes with an Intellectual Impairment must compete in the event they wish to be classified for - Shot put or Long Jump (Intellectually Impaired athletes wishing to be classified in Track can compete in either the 400 or 1500 meters).
* Please note that there will be no opportunity for International Classification for athletes with a Visual Impairment at this event.
