Athletics New Zealand is excited to support the Australia Athletics Championships for 2019. This year will see a combined week-long Championships for U15 – Senior grades.

All athletes need to enter through the Athletics New Zealand online entries system. This is a change from previous years where some athletes have been able to enter directly with Athletics Australia. All entries must be done through Athletics New Zealand as the Member Federation.

The Athletics NZ online entries system is the same as the one used when registering to compete at any Athletics New Zealand National Championships. You should have your own log in and password but if you do not, you can click on the same link and it will direct you to rediscovering these details or entering your details for the first time.

It is a requirement to pay by credit card online as you enter online. If you do not have access to a credit card please contact Teams in order to proceed with your entry, though it is preferred if you use a credit card.

2019 Australian Championships

• The Australian Athletics Championships will take place at Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney from Monday 1 – Sunday 7 April 2019
• The deadline for entries is 5pm, Monday 11 March 2019
• Price is NZD $35 per event
• Late entries are at a cost of NZD $60 per event and are at the discretion of Athletics NZ High Performance
• If you withdraw entirely or from an event after the closing date, you are not guaranteed a refund
• Athletes that enter this competition are to wear their Centre or Club uniforms when competing
• Grades available are U15 – Senior. More information regarding age grade and entry regulations are on the online entry form
