Due to popular demand, we are pleased to announce that Christchurch will once again host the 2022 Athletics New Zealand High Performance Throws Camp Sunday 9 January – Tuesday 11 January.

 The camp will give athletes and coaches a chance to engage, learn, and train together as a throwing community in a High Performance environment.

The camp also coincides with the Lovelock Classic (Timaru) – see schedule here – and Yvette Williams Classic (Dunedin) which also doubles up as the Javelin Development Camp so athletes and coaches can make the most of their trip down South. 

The camp is targeted towards:

Athletes: 16 years and above, that have future High performance Aspirations in Athletics and preferably have previously attended an Athletics New Zealand event group camp.

Coaches: that hold a current Athletics NZ Coaching Membership and preferably have previously attended an Athletics New Zealand Event group camp.

Please note, due to accommodation, facilities and budget availability the total numbers of attendees will be capped so please note completing a registration form does not confirm a position on this camp. Priority will be given to current High Performance Programme athletes and Athletics NZ Accredited or Registered coaches.
