Athletics NZ is pleased to release the timetable for the 2022 Jennian Homes New Zealand Track & Field Championships, which is set to take place over three days from Friday 4 March to Sunday 6 March at Mitre 10 Park in Hastings.

Next year’s event will revert to the traditional three-day programme and will see the reintroduction of competition for the U18 age group.  Earlier this year, the national championships in Hastings were scheduled for early March but were pushed back three weeks because of Covid-related restrictions in parts of New Zealand and a revised two-day timetable was organised without U18 athletes due to logistical challenges.

A number of key senior finals have been scheduled for late during the Friday and Saturday sessions to help generate more spectator viewing opportunities around these competitions.
