How to Watch the 2025 Jennian Homes NZ Track and Field Championships

The 2025 Jennian Homes New Zealand Track and Field Championships are set to return to screens big and small this March. The New Zealand Summer Circuit pinnacle will be live-streamed on the Athletics NZ YouTube channel, bringing you the peak action from New Zealand’s top track and field athletes.
This year’s Jennian Homes New Zealand Track and Field Championships livestream is evolving to deliver a more engaging viewing experience for fans new and old. With more cameras and improved broadcast quality, fans will enjoy enhanced coverage of the action. Led by our expert commentary team, Sarah Cowley-Ross and Nick Bewley, the stream will focus on New Zealand’s star athletes, ensuring fans enjoy key moments from our Olympians, Paralympians, and our top title match-ups. By highlighting our most prominent names and most exciting events, we aim to grow the sport, attract new fans, and showcase the best of New Zealand athletics to a wider audience.
Tune in to “Finals Friday”, “Super Saturday”, and the Matthews Eyecare 1500m finals on Sunday.
Finals Friday will showcase Olympic Silver medalist Maddi Wesche in the Women’s Shot Put final, World U20 Champion Ethan Olivier in the Men’s Triple Jump Final, Tori Moorby (nee Peeters) in the Women’s Javelin Final, and Connor Bell in the Men’s Discus Final. As well as all the action from the 800m Finals, 3000m Steeple Chase Finals, 4x100m Finals, and the 5000m Finals – Under 20s
Super Saturday is set to be the pinnacle session for the weekend. Headlining the afternoon’s coverage will be Olympic High Jump Champion and Halberg Sportsman of the Year Hamish Kerr. Halberg Para Athlete of the Year, Anna Grimaldi will race over 200m for the first time since being crowned Paralympic Champion.
The matchup between Tom Walsh and Jacko Gill will be an unmissable showdown in the shot put circle. Eliza McCartney and Livi Mctaggart will star in the women’s Pole Vault. Oceania’s fastest woman, Zoe Hobbs, will race over the 100m final, as will Tiaan Whelpton in the men’s 100m final.
Lex Revell-Lewis will continue his quest to break the NZ 400-meter record, Sam Tanner will compete in the 1500-meter heats, and Lauren Bruce will go in the Hammer Throw final.
