Oceania Athletics competitions cancelled for 2020
Following the Oceania Athletics Council Meeting held on 20 August, Oceania Athletics has taken the difficult decision to cancel all 2020 Championship events due to the ongoing impact and restrictions associated with the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The Championships to be cancelled for 2020 are the following:
Polynesian Championships, Nuku’alofa, Tonga
Oceania Half Marathon/Marathon, Gold Coast, Australia
Oceania Combined Event Championships, Mackay, Australia
Oceania Cross Country Championships, Bathurst, Australia
Oceania Trail Championships, Christchurch, New Zealand
Oceania 50km Walk Championships, Melbourne, Australia
Athletes who submitted applications for these teams have been contacted directly.
