OBITUARY
Former national high jump champion Steven Hollings of Christchurch died on 7 August 2024 aged 54.
Hollings won the national title in 1988 with a height of 2.13m. He represented New Zealand at the 1988 World Junior Championships in Sudbury Canada.
He attended Ashburton College and was coached at the College by 1974 Commonwealth Games representative Trevor Cochrane. Hollings still holds the College high jump record of 2.05m.
