Leith team of Grayson Westgate, Dan Hayman, Stephen Johnston and Graham Fisher won the 4 x 4km relay in 55:40, from Hill City University 56:13 and Leith 2 59:36. Fastest times Ruie Hyslop (HCU) 13:17, Jake Owen (HCU) 13:25, Grayson Westgate 13:37.

The Leith team of Kristy Eyles, Katie Smith, Margie Campbell and Mel Aitken won the women’s relay in 1:11:43 from Leith 2 1:12:03 and HCU 1:12:52. Fastest times Margie Campbell 17:17, Rebecca Allnutt (HCU) 17:18, Kristy Eyles 17:31.

OBITUARY
Former national race walking champion Peter Hellriegel of Auckland passed away on May 12 2025, aged 94. He won the 1952 New Zealand one-mile race walking title in 6:43.9 at the nationals held in Whanganui.
