A Diamond League victory to Tom Walsh in the shot put with his opening round throw of 21.89m.
“It was a really good first throw, and I had another four good attempts at throwing a long way.”
“It’s early season still for me, so the timing isn’t quite lining up. But I haven’t moved like this for 12 months and definitely (since my injury,” he said.
“There are really good signs there, but I’ve got to be patient about now getting all that horsepower into that ball, which is really hard to do when you are turning around in the circle.”
