Clarification on Athletics NZ rankings
Athletics New Zealand boasts one of the most comprehensive performance ranking websites in the world. More than 106,000 performances are now held within its database.
At the start of each summer season the Athletics NZ statistician, Stephen Hollings, invariably receives multiple queries as to why some results and athlete performances do not appear on the Athletics NZ Rankings lists.
There are a number of factors involved but, to provide some clarity, our statistician has produced the below explanatory documents.
