World Athletics has announced that the 2022 World Athletics Cross Country Championships has been postponed to Saturday 18 February 2023.

“The postponement is due to the biosecurity measures and travel restrictions currently in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Australia. Australian borders are closed to international visitors.” Click here to read the full press release on the World Athletics website.

The Athletics NZ selection policy for the 2022 World Athletics Cross Country Championships is now null and void until an amended policy is published with updated competition details.

Athletes who submitted an Application for Selection Form for this competition will be contacted directly.
