2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships Team Selection Announcement

A team of six athletes has been selected to represent New Zealand at Belgrade22 on 18-20 March 2022. This is the largest contingent Athletics NZ has ever sent to a World Athletics Indoor Championships.

Terry Lomax, Athletics NZ Lead Coach – Combined Events & Jumps, will serve as Team Leader for the first World Athletics competition of the year.

Congratulations and best wishes to the following athletes in their respective events:

Zoe Hobbs – 60m

Geordie Beamish – 3000m

Hamish Kerr – High Jump

Olivia McTaggart – Pole Vault

Tom Walsh – Shot Put
