Athletes that miss selection for the Kobe 2024 World Para Athletics Championships will have priority consideration for a Para Development Tour to the 2024 Australian Athletics Championships scheduled to be held in Adelaide on 11 – 19 April 2024.
This Tour will be aimed at (but not exclusive to) pathway athletes currently in development and PDS squads who show potential for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games. More details will be published on the Athletics NZ website as they are confirmed.

The Criteria has been reviewed and ratified by the Paralympics New Zealand Selection Panel, The Athletics New Zealand Board Sub Committee and the Athletics New Zealand Athletes’ Commission.
