We are delighted to announce Red Stag Timber as the naming rights sponsor to the historic Red Stag Rotorua Marathon – which this year celebrates its 60th anniversary edition on 3-4 May.

An independent, privately owned timber company based in Rotorua, Red Stag Timber have been a long-term supporter of the iconic event. A sponsor of the half marathon for a number of years, last year they came on board as naming rights partner.

Believing the race aligns with the company philosophy of connecting with and supporting the local community Red Stag Timber CEO Marty Verry said: “We’re proud to support the ‘Red Stag Rotorua Marathon’, an iconic New Zealand event that has encouraged Rotorua residents and visitors from afar to stay fit and active for 60 years now.”

“Naming rights sponsorship aligns with Red Stag Timber’s community leadership role in encouraging lifespan and health span through sport – we wish all entrants a fun and successful race.”

Athletics NZ Competitions Manager Jason Cameron said: “We are delighted Red Stag Timber has once again offered their support to the historic race. The company has a had a long-term commitment to the event and has encouraged many of its team to feature in the race. We look forward to continuing to work with them and to strengthen our long-standing partnership.”
