Athletics Auckland Meeting, Mt Smart Stadium – 30 March 2019Portia Bing posted another good performance of 56.75 in the 400m hurdles, leading into this weekend’s Australian nationals in Sydney.

Sir Graeme Douglas International, 21 March 2019:

Jacob Stockwell (16) of Egmont Athletics in finishing fourth in the 100m final in 10.73 (+1.4) set a New Zealand under 17 record, breaking Dominic Overend’s record of 10.75 set in Sydney exactly a year ago.

IAAF World Cross Country Championships, Aarhus, Denmark – 30 March 2019

Kirstie Rae of Wellington was the highest placed athlete out of the 16 runners representing New Zealand at the championships, finishing a creditable 17th in the junior women.

Senior women 10.025km;
