Athletics Otago opening of the season meeting, Caledonian Ground – 7 October 2023

Jorja Gibbons, the 2022 national U18 long jump champion, cleared 5.07m +0.4 in her opening competition of the season and recorded 12.1 h 100m and 25.1 h 200m. Former national U20 decathlon and 400m hurdles champion Cameron Moffitt unleashed a PB of 12.47m with the 7.26kg shot put and a 34.91m discus throw.
